Henry Foote—What Happened?

On Friday 1 November 2019 my husband Henry was involved in a serious accident on his Vespa. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai where he was cared for by the trauma team and was in very serious condition for ten days. I don't want to go into a detained description of what the many injuries were but there were many broken bones and crushed organs. He was in the ICU for 21 days.

Henry has hundreds of friends all over the world who love him and he is grateful for all the love and support he is getting while he recovers from this catastrophic accident.

Henry is now at his home after spending two months with the California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City where he was fitted with a prosthetic leg by the Hangar Institute. He has a dedicated team of rehabilitation therapists who work with him five days a week and nursing care for his healing wounds. Henry will walk again because he was in such great physical condition before the accident and has a strong will to thrive.

I hope you will follow the frequent updates on the site.

There will be no photos of him while he's rehabilitating.

Be fierce and thrive!
